If you like the idea of giving a star-themed name that’s pop-culture themed and based on famous fictional characters, I’ve got a list of these, like “Astrid,” “Vega,” “Cassiopeia,” and “Electra.” These work very well, especially if you like the idea of having a backstory for your star female that’s related to these pop-culture themed fictional characters.
“Étoile,” “Sei,” “Hoshi,” and “Gwenn” are all examples of names that area actually words for “Star” in other languages, like French and Japanese – and so many of these make for absolutely gorgeous Star female names, with different sounds to them. So please do take a moment to look through these as you may find what you’re after quite quickly, and many of them are unique sounding and not as used as star-themed names because they are in languages that names are not often pulled from with English speakers.
“Vega,” “Mira,” “Lyra,” and “Taygeta” are all names of real stars in the solar system, galaxy, and beyond. So many of these also make for great, unique sounding star female names, so take a moment to check out this list if you want unique sounding names.
Of course, there are also constellation names, like “Andromeda,” “Cygnus,” “Delphina,” and “Hydra” – that make for excellent star female names as well, so I’ve got a list of these for you to browse through.

“Halo,” “Nora,” “Glow,” “Orbit,” “Zenith,” and “Solstice” are all examples of single, dictionary-words that work perfectly if you’re looking for a nickname or an alias for a star-female. Many of them also make great names as well, especially if you’re after a more fun, sweet name for a pet, like a cute cat name that is star-themed.
“Izar,” “Talitha,” “Solara,” and “Bellatrix” are star-themed female names that work well if you’re looking for a star-themed name that’s more sparkle and shine themed, and “Ember,” “Fiamma,” “Ignatia,” “Vesta,” and “Seraphina” are perfect if you’re looking for more fire-themed names for your star female.
